North Wialki is located in the central Wheatbelt and is approximately 3.5 hours North East from Perth CBD. The venue’s host is the Sprigg family who have generously opened up their homestead to us.
The homestead has limited phone reception. The homestead is on UHF channel 30 if you do need assistance whilst driving.
As this is a rural event (the nearest town is Wialki, >1 hour drive away), please read the race information pack carefully to ensure you are fully prepared for the journey to the race site, and the event.
Camp is open from Friday 7th August. All spectators/non-mushers and non-members attending are required to pay a $10 per-person camping fee. Please add this in the extras section to your registration if required.
Saturday Lunch, Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast menu options are available to purchase thanks to our amazing hosts. Cash transactions only. You will need to provide your own plates and cutlery.
Please let us know in the Memo section of your race entry if you are wishing to take advantage of the catering available so we can let our hosts know.
We ask you to ensure that ALL dogs are contained at all times as per WASSA rules. There are also working dogs on the farm, ensure your dogs do not interrupt them should they be working nearby during the day.
