LRCV Photo Competition 2026

Eligibility

The competition is open to Labrador Lovers who are amateur photographers.

Entry Dates

Entries will be accepted from 22 May 2026 until 11:59pm on 15 July 2026.
No entries will be accepted after this time.

Entry Fee

Entry fee is $20 payable online via Show Manager.
Junior entries are free.

Each entrant may submit up to six photographs.
Photos that include children will not be accepted.

Competition Categories

Photos will be entered into the following categories. Competition organisers will allocate submissions to the most appropriate category:

• Water Fun
• Action / Retrieving Labradors
• Best Dressed
• Sleeping Labradors
• Comical Labradors
• Junior Photographer (Under 16)

Judging & Prizes

An independent guest judge (external to the LRCV) will judge the competition.

Each category will receive:

?? 1st Place

• $50 e-gift card
• Photo featured in the 2027 LRCV Calendar
• Certificate of Excellence??

?? 2nd Place

• Photo featured in the 2027 LRCV Calendar
• Certificate of Achievement

All category winners will then go on to compete for the overall award:

?? Grand Prize

• $75 e-gift card

? People’s Choice Award

• $50 e-gift card
• Photo featured in the 2027 LRCV Calendar
• Certificate of Recognition

Note: Only one calendar will be awarded per person.

Announcement of Winners

Winners will be announced within two weeks of the closing date via the LRCV website, newsletter, and social media channels.

Image Use & Permissions

By entering the competition, entrants grant the LRCV permission to use submitted images in the following ways:

• Inclusion in the LRCV 2027 Calendar
• Promotion of the LRCV via its website, newsletter, and social media
• Future marketing and promotional material for the club

Entrants acknowledge that images may be used by the LRCV at any time for these purposes.
The LRCV will not be liable for any third-party misuse of images.
Submission of an entry does not guarantee that the LRCV will use the image.

Image Requirements

All entries must:

• Be original photographs taken by the entrant
• Not include watermarks, branding, or logos (entries will be disqualified if present)
• Only include permitted editing and retouching (AI-generated elements are not allowed and may result in disqualification)
• Be available in original format with full metadata if requested for verification
